Boomerang! BlogMonday, September 15, 2008 Regulation Anyone? I guess this is a good a day as any to write a story about regulating stuff... whether it's hurtful things that are said about others, pollution -- or financial institutions. The last 25 years has brought about a dramatic pullback from "regulation". The rationale? Individuals and institutions are self-regulating. Well, in a perfect world maybe. But not in this one. History has seen extremes to both sides of this concept. A good case could be made that we're in one right now.
